I am at awe with this 14 year-old genius blogger who has been earning money through his blog for a little more than a year since he was 13 years old. I'm like, if this Carl Ocab can do it, perhaps I could, too! (Hehe.. the power of positive thinking).

I honestly am impressed with his passion, dedication to his craft and his skill. He tramps 55 Million competitors for the keyword "make money online". How cool is that!

Gosh, what was I doing when I was 13?!

I liked his piece of wisdom on blogging. He said blogging is a sport and the more we practice, we can be good at it. Perhaps there's some hope for me in the world of blogging after all. What a smart kid. Are you sure you're 14 years old?

Doing a quick search, I found out he's a FILIPINO!!! My God.. I hope I could meet you!

Link Exchange in Forums - Digital Point Forums

I am registered to several forums in the hopes that I find webmasters and SE Optimizers like me who are looking for link exchange partners. From experience, Digital Point is the best among other forums for the reason that the threads there have quality threads, actually posted by a real people, less spammy threads and a lot of link builders and SEO masters generally hang out in the forum.

Most forums are full of junk threads posted by spambots, abandoned threads and a lot of duplicate topics all asking for the same link exchange requests. But not Digital Point.

I got a lot of quality links and even met valued friends from my participation and links exchanges in DP.

Registration is easy.

2. Register for an account.
3. A confirmation is needed to validate your registration.
4. Once you validated, you are now free to participate in discussions.

Not only is Digital Point a good source for link exchange, it stores thousands of valuable information everyone needs to know on SEO and Internet Marketing. A good site to bookmark for struggling SEO and Internet Marketing newbies like me. Just browse through the categories and surely, you can learn lots of facts on link exchange, different facets of SEO and internet marketing.

One good thing for participating in Digital Point is that the signature links are "do follow". There is a requirement to be able to add a signature but once this is available, put your anchor link and URL in it and voila, it would provide a good source of quality backlink for your site. The more posts you do, the more backlinks for your site.

Google Update - February 28, 2008

The SEO community is currently holding its breath in confusion and some in shock as Google updates PR and backlinks starting from February 19, 2008.

No word yet on why the unscheduled update but discussions are hot on some of the biggest SEO forums in the internet. Check out this forum to join the discussion:

I am creating a new blog (again) to document the stuff I learn about internet marketing. I own several blogs but all of them have been abandoned. There is possibility that I will be abandoning this blog, too, as I am only good at the beginning and never good at long term endeavors.

The URL of this blog is just my complete name for lack of initiative to think of a more creative one.

So.. this is it for the first post.
